Abstract

New CCD photometric light curves of the low-mass binary system NSVS 10653195 are presented. Our complete B, V, R-c and I-c-band light curves show a remarkable out-eclipsing distortion. This phenomenon suggests that the components of the system may be active. The photometric solutions with star-spot were derived by using the 2013 version of the Wilson-Devinney (WD) code. Based on all available times of light minimum, we analyzed the orbital period changes. The O-C diagram reveals that the period of NSVS 10653195 is decreasing at a rate of dP/dt = -2.79 x 10(-7) days yr(-1), which is probably caused by angular momentum loss. (C) 2015 Elsevier B.V.
