Abstract月球激光测距是一项充满着挑战的实验,涉及光学、机械、电子等多个学科。由于地月距离遥远以及大气等因素的困扰,月球激光测距的回波光子数寥寥无几。为了补偿大气湍流对发射激光束的影响,我们考虑将自适应光学技术 应用于月球激光测距以补偿大气湍流对发射激光束的随机抖动效应及光束能量分布的影响,最终提高月球激光测距的回波光子数。 为了验证以月面为信标的倾斜量提取算法的有效性,采集了APOLLO 11和APOLLO 15两个月面反射器附近的月貌图像,用适用于低对比度扩展源的绝对差分算法与互相关函数法提取了大气波前倾斜量,比较了去除倾斜量和未去 除倾斜量的月面长曝光像,证实了两种算法的有效性。 基于云南天文台1.2米地平式望远镜,计算了不同情况下月球的物方视场的旋转以及望远镜像方视场的旋转对大气波前倾斜量提取算法的影响,结果表明: 月球激光测距中视场旋转将对大气波前倾斜量的提取算法造成不可忽略的影响,应在短时间内更换参考图像或使探测器根据视场旋转的大小和方向进行实时旋转以抵消其影响。 根据激光束在大气中传播的能量分布规律以及61单元自适应光学系统的性能,分析了61单元自适应光学系统应用于云南天文台1.2米望远镜的月球激光测距试验时回波光子数的提高效果。本文证明了自适应光学技术应用于月球激光测距中将会对回波光子数有可观的提高。
Other AbstractLunar Laser Ranging(LLR) is an challenging experiment which relates to many fields such as optics,mechanism and electronics. The returned photon numbers are few in LLR because of the long distance from earth to moon and the efect by atmosphere. Adaptive optics is considered to be used in LLR to compensate the laser beam "jitter" and laser beam shape distortion caused by atmosphere, so that the returned photon numbers will be increased. In order to test the algorithms used for low contrast extended lunar surface, Data of lunar surface near APOLLO 11 and APOLLO 15 were collected. Ab- solute diference algorithm and cross-correlation algorithm are used to compute the wavefront tip-tilt errors. Long exposure images with and without removing the tip-tilt errors are compared to test the efect of the two algorithms. Results reveal the algorithms work well. Field rotation Based on the 1.2m Alt-Az telescope of Yunnan observatory is computed in diference conditions. It shows that field rotation shouldn't be ignored in LLR. In order to compensate the efect of the ¯eld rotation, The reference image should be changed in a short time or the detector should be rotated in the same velocity and the same direction. According to the laser beam characters and the performance of the 61 element adaptive optics system, the returned photon numbers are analyzed when 61 element adaptive optics system is used in LLR. Results show the returned photon numbers will be increased obviously.
